By registering for this event, you understand and agree to the terms and conditions stated below. The following interpretations shall be applicable throughout these terms and conditions:
- 'Organiser' shall mean Evolve Endurance Club
- 'Event' shall mean the race organised by the Organiser
- 'Participant' shall mean the person(s) being registered to participate in the Event
- 'You' shall mean the person submitting the registration, whether or not that person is also a Participant
1. The Participant agrees to provide information that is truthful and correct.
2. You agree to receive information regarding the Event.
3. The Organiser holds the right to amend/cancel the Event at late notice; this includes race time and date.
4. The Organiser retains the right to refuse participation by a Participant. In such circumstances, the Organiser shall seek to inform the Participant through the communication channels used to effect the registration, but shall be under no obligation to provide reasons for refusal. A full refund will be made to the Participant using the same method of payment used when registering for the Event.
5. In the event of a cancellation of the Event which is beyond control of the Organiser, such as adverse weather, pandemic restrictions etc, the Organiser will attempt to reschedule the Event and registrations will automatically be transferred. In the case that the Event is not rescheduled for unforeseen reasons a partial refund may be issued after all expenses of committed contractors are paid.
6. If the Event is rescheduled and the Participant chooses not to race, the Participant shall not be entitled to a refund.
7. Any Participant including minors agrees that their participation in the Event is at their own risk. Any accidents or injuries sustained during the Event are not a responsibility of the Organiser.
8. No refunds will be given if a Participant decides not to race.
9. Every Participant agrees to abide by rules and instructions given on the day by the Organiser and its officials, Police/other officers, Marshalls and Athletics Malta.
10. Every Participant agrees that photos may be taken and shared on printed, social or any other audiovisual media. These can be distributed to third parties and/or used on the Organiser's website and social media profile(s).
11. Every Participant confirms that they understand the risks involved with activity, and acknowledge that they are solely responsible for ensuring that they are fully fit and healthy enough to compete in the Event. The Organiser will not be responsible for health issues, injuries or death that arise during or after the Event.
12. The Organiser will not be responsible for loss of, or damage to, any personal equipment.
13. Requests for a change in name of Participant will be considered by the Organiser, however it is entirely at the Organiser's discretion whether or not to entertain the request.
14. The name, surname, ID/Passport number, date of birth, gender, nationality and team will be shared with the Event's timekeepers to extract and display the race results and determine the Event's awards. Race results are kept indefinitely.
15. Other than as set out in terms 4 and 5, in the event that the Organiser provides, at its discretion, any refunds to participants, the Organiser shall be entitled to retain a minimum of €2 to cover charges.
